Great design (underpinned by design research) is at the heart of the successful consumer
experience! At Saros Research, we understand how important it is to involve the end user in everything
you create, and we recruit for design projects in a range of specific ways…
- Identifying typical users and rejectors of existing/competitive projects, for you to conduct
deliberative work
- Screening for creative or abstract thinking respondents, who can add specific value at an
early iteration of your design development, and successfully make the mental leap with you to a finished
product
- Pre-placeing/distributing your confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements
- Finding people who can test a product for you at home, and are comfortable with blogging /
vlogging to give you real-time user feedback
- Following up with the same respondents - as a membership organisation we have ongoing
permission to recontact them - months or even years later, when your development has taken a new
direction or you want feedback on a finished product
Respondents have great enthusiasm for design research - their involvement feels very tangible
and direct, and there is a huge "I helped with that!" payoff when they see a new product or piece of
packaging in the public domain. We all love to feel we've had a glimpse of the future, and even better
to feel we may have influenced or shaped it in some small way.
