Saros' Story

Who or what is Saros?

solar eclipse saros cyle The word 'Saros' relates to a formula for calculating solar and lunar eclipses, which reflects the earliest discussions of the business model during the time of the 1999 UK solar eclipse. We thought it was a good metaphor for qualitative research recruitment - something that is interesting, poorly understood except by far too few people, goes on in the background regardless, and fundamentally underpins huge movements and directions.

We also thought it was a beautiful and unusual word!
